Underground Utilities & Sitework Superintendent – Sarasota, FL
Salary: $94,000–$104,000 (Salaried Truck Benefits)
Spectrum Underground is hiring a Superintendent with experience in both underground utilities and sitework. This is a combined leadership role overseeing crews installing water/sewer/storm systems and performing grading, excavation, and road base preparation.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and support foremen and crews
• Manage utilities: water/sewer/storm, manholes, lift stations
• Manage sitework: earthwork, fine grading, road base, asphalt prep
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and trucking
• Review plans, verify grades, and ensure quality control
• Communicate with PMs, inspectors, and clients
• Submit daily reports using WorkMax
What You Need:
• 5 years in utilities and/or sitework
• 2 years in a superintendent/lead foreman role
• Ability to manage both scopes daily
• Strong plan reading and grade-checking skills
• Tech-friendly (iPad, laptop, Office 365)
