LPN Duties
- Administering medications and performing basic first aid.
- Monitoring client health conditions and responding to medical emergencies.
- Maintaining accurate records, completing daily paperwork, and participating in required trainings before the start date.
- Communicating effectively with clients, coworkers, and families.
Behavioral experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Valid LPN nursing license.
- Experience in providing medical care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of common medical conditions and disabilities.
- CPR (AED) and First Aid certification (required).
- Ability to administer medications and perform basic first aid.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the executive director and team members.
- Experience in a similar environment and/or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Must pass drug testing and fingerprinting require
