SUMMARY
Provide essential support to the Senior Human Resources Manager and HR Generalists, handling recruitment activities, onboarding processes, data management, administrative operations, and various HR tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to employee inquiries while ensuring outstanding customer service standards.
- Coordinate and initiate pre-employment background screenings and drug testing procedures.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for both direct hires and temp-to-hire employees.
- Refer employee issues and concerns to Corporate HR for resolution as necessary.
- Assist the Senior HR Manager with workers' compensation, FMLA, benefits inquiries, and open enrollment activities.
- Collaborate with temporary staffing agencies to integrate new employees efficiently.
- Aid the Operations Manager by managing diverse HR-related administrative responsibilities.
- Handle miscellaneous projects, assignments, and HR tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of steady experience in Human Resources roles is mandatory.
- Spanish-English bilingual ability is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of California employment and labor regulations is essential.
- Experience managing I9/E-Verify processes and pre-employment verifications is required.
- Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and time management are critical.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required; experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of compliance regulations, including FMLA, COBRA, and FLSA.
- Hands-on experience with benefits administration and open enrollment procedures.
- Previous experience coordinating with temp staffing agencies.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion in HR matters.
