SUMMARYSupport quality control testing and small-batch product manufacturing in a regulated laboratory. This position works closely with product development and quality teams to perform endpoint tests, verify batches, maintain instruments, and prepare materials before and after production. The role combines hands-on bench work with documentation and continuous improvement efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES• Perform endpoint and product support tests, including stability studies, lot verification, and validation work.• Prepare and assist with manufacturing tasks such as calibrating equipment, setting up vial trays, dispensing and stoppering products, removing finished units, and collecting QC samples.• Inspect and document incoming materials, ensuring proper release of finished products per quality procedures.• Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory instruments and record maintenance data.• Work with product development and management teams to review results and propose process enhancements.• Follow established lab procedures, safety rules, and documentation protocols accurately and on time. QUALIFICATIONS• Associate’s degree in a related scientific field; MLT certification preferred.• 1–2 years of laboratory experience; experience with automated analyzers is an advantage.• Comfortable with data entry, spreadsheets, and documentation software.• Strong basic math and analytical skills (fractions, decimals, reagent calculations, and statistical concepts).• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to follow technical instructions precisely.• Dependable and organized; able to meet deadlines and document results consistently.• Physically able to perform lab duties including standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.• ASCP MLT or equivalent certification preferred.Company DescriptionWith over thirty-five years of Recruiting, Staffing and HR Consulting experience providing nationwide service to many of the largest organizations in the country, Spectrum has achieved a level of experience and expertise that benefits our clients, candidates and contractors.
