About Us
Our Clinic is a successful, independent Interventional Pain Management practice founded in 2015. We operate three modern clinics in coastal Georgia and South Carolina and are poised for strategic growth.
We are a tight-knit team of 16 employees, including 3 Nurse Practitioners and 1 Physician. We see ~45 patients per clinic Monday–Thursday, with Fridays reserved as an administrative day. As a small independent practice, efficiency, financial discipline, and smart growth are essential to our success.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and proactive Practice Manager / Business Manager who will serve as the operational and financial leader of the entire practice. This is a true leadership role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, loves optimizing small-business operations, and is excited by expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all banking activities, daily patient account audits, accounts receivable, and accounts payable (working closely with the accountant and third-party administrators).
• Manage payroll and support 401(k)/retirement plan administration.
• Handle insurance credentialing, maintain current state and federal licenses/registrations for all four medical providers in South Carolina and Georgia.
• Ensure provider liability insurance and all vendor contracts/service agreements remain current and well-organized.
• Assist with daily operations: monitor patient scheduling integrity, ensure proper staff coverage across all three locations, manage incoming mail, and handle key emails.
• Drive financial performance and operational efficiency — critical for maintaining healthy margins in a small practice.
• Lead business development, marketing initiatives, and growth projects.
• Act as the central point of accountability for the business and financial health of all three clinics.
Qualifications & Ideal Candidate
Required:
• Solid business management experience (healthcare/medical practice background strongly preferred).
• Strong communication skills.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for making a small independent practice financially secure and profitable while upholding excellent patient care.
Highly Desired:
• Experience with medical billing, insurance, credentialing, and compliance (GA/SC).
• Background in accounting, tax preparation, or financial operations.
• Talent and interest in marketing, business development, and strategic planning.
• Prior success managing or growing a small medical practice.
