Primary Responsibilities
- Perform system-level modeling and simulation of NAVAID performance
- Analyze simulation outputs and compare results with flight inspection measurement data
- Build terrain and object representations using modeling software
- Prepare detailed technical reports, analysis documentation, and presentations
- Support Navigation and Landing teams with modeling, analysis, and troubleshooting efforts
- Assist in developing and refining analytical tools and methodologies
- Apply basic coding techniques to support modeling and data analysis tasks
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- 1–5 years of relevant experience, including internships or co-op experience
- Master’s degree may be substituted for required work experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Experience or demonstrated interest in:
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Technical writing and reporting
- Python
- MATLAB
- Basic programming or scripting experience
- Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint
- CAD and simulation tools (AutoCAD, ANSYS, or similar) – a plus
