SR. ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Reports to: Operations Manager

Compensation: $160 - $180K

We are a multi-discipline engineering and project services firm supporting industrial manufacturers across consumer products, food & beverage, chemical, and related markets. Our teams deliver full-service project execution — from front-end engineering through procurement support, construction coordination, and start-up — with a strong focus on quality, safety, and long-term client partnerships.

Your Role:

You’ll lead engineering design projects from concept through completion, serving as the primary client interface and ensuring all disciplines deliver high-quality, coordinated work.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships; understand their business needs and upcoming project opportunities
• Lead proposal development, scope definition, and project planning
• Oversee multi-discipline engineering deliverables (civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, controls)
• Manage budgets, schedules, resources, and change control
• Ensure project requirements, client standards, and internal processes are met
• Track costs and invoicing; ensure work stays within approved funding
• Anticipate future work opportunities and support account growth
• Oversee projects of varying size and complexity

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Significant experience managing engineering projects in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Background in consumer products, food & beverage, chemicals, mining, heavy metals or similar industries preferred
• Understanding of front-end and detailed engineering processes
• Ability to communicate engineering concepts across disciplines
• Strong client-facing skills with experience in account management and proposal development
• Proven track record delivering projects on time, within budget, and to defined scope
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable leading in a fast-paced setting
