Company Description Spectrum Recovery Solutions is a specialized mental health practice serving the Southwest Florida community, to support individuals and families impacted by addiction, sexual concerns, and trauma. The practice has grown into a team of highly trained mental health professionals who focus on sex addiction, co-occurring substance and behavioral addictions, trauma and couples/marital therapy. Spectrum Recovery Solutions also provides care for sex-addiction-induced partner trauma and trauma resolution, using approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR. Services include individual, group, couples, and family therapy, offering comprehensive support tailored to each client’s needs.
Role Description This Independent Contractor role is a contract position based on-site in Estero, FL. The contractor will provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, couples, and family therapy for clients experiencing addiction, sex addiction, sexual dysfunction, trauma, and related concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and collaborating with other practitioners to ensure integrated care. The contractor will participate in case consultations, use evidence-based modalities aligned with the practice’s specialties, and support clients in developing skills for emotional regulation, relationship health, and long-term recovery.
Qualifications
- Licensure or registration as a mental health professional (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state of Florida, or eligibility to obtain such licensure.
- Demonstrated skills in providing therapy related to addiction, sex addiction, and co-occurring behavioral or substance issues.
- Experience or training in trauma-informed care, including work with partner trauma and trauma resolution.
- Competence in couples/marital therapy and family systems work to support relationship and family dynamics.
- Familiarity with or willingness to obtain certifacation through IITAP in sex addiction, partner trauma or couples recovery.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ethical, culturally sensitive, and non-judgmental practice with diverse client populations.
- Master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field.
- Prior experience in outpatient private practice or similar clinical settings in mental health is preferred.
