SUMMARY: Responsible for inspecting, packing and labeling product as it comes off various high-speed plastic extrusion lines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Package and label all product – varying length and type
• Inspect and monitor production line with the support of Extrusion Technician
• Take responsibility for product quality on the line assigned
• Follow established work instructions and procedures
• Identify and handle nonconforming material
• Maintain and enforce a safe, clean work environment
• Ability to use ERP system to enter inspection data and create labels
• Review and train new personnel as needed
• Communicate effectively with Extrusion Technicians, Engineering and Quality staff
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Leadership
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have basic math skills to include fractions, decimals and use of calculator
• Must be able to read drawings and work instructions
• Must be able to use basic measurement tools to include rulers, calipers, measuring tapes, laser micrometer and visual comparators
• Must possess basic knowledge of computers
