Reporting directly to the Global Sourcing Manager, the Purchasing Logistics Coordinator, will be responsible for managing the procurement process and inventory system, to ensure a seamless supply of materials to the medical flexibles and fluid management operations. You will work with our ERP system, IQMS, to ensure vendor data, min/max quantities, and inventory amounts are accurate.

What You Will Need To Accomplish
- Work safely, following all safety policies and proactively enforcing and participating in the safe work of others. Be a leading example of adherence to all internal safety procedures and policies to keep a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize procurement system tools to streamline processes to provide an appropriate supply of material to the production team and to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Supports the daily operations of the plant by ensuring that material supply sufficient for production and identify and address quality issues that may disrupt manufacturing. The materials include raw material, packaging, and expense items, necessary to sustain plant operation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Analyze inventory levels, demand forecasts, and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Engage in plant CI program identifying cost saving opportunities and process enhancements within the procurement processes.
- Utilize IQMS ERP system to monitor Inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and production supplies.
- Prepare and present metrics, costs, savings, and sourcing performance data to plant leadership and finance teams to identify areas to improve effectiveness.
- Implement sustainable and socially responsible strategic sourcing practices, including supporting local suppliers and promoting ethical sourcing.
- Stay up to date on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to sourcing activities.
- Create purchase orders based on inventory levels, lead times, and requirements, following up on po status and late orders as needed.
- Maintain an approved supplier list (following up on supplier surveys and ISO certs) with suppliers in our approved database.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by plant leadership to support business needs.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in supply chain management, business administration, or related work experience.
- Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in implementing sustainable and socially responsible procurement practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in and or manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other similar software programs.
- Capable of managing a sourcing program in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands.
- Continually required to talk or hear.
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
- Intermediate computer skills to input data / interface with Material Management Systems.
- Ability to work on manufacturing floor to best understand production team requirements,
- Required to work with cross-functional teams in a fair, ethical, and legal manner to protect the business, its employees, and its assets.
- IQMS experience a plus.
- Ability to operate a forklift a plus.
