The Physical Therapy Aide reports to the Physical Therapist and supports orthopedic, sports injury, and geriatric patients. This role focuses on exercise sessions, patient room turnover, treatment assistance, and maintaining an organized, sanitary clinical environment, with no front-desk duties.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for physical therapy sessions.
- Assist with treatment activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Set up and handle medical equipment for therapy sessions.
- Support patient exercise sessions and therapeutic exercises.
- Turn over and sanitize patient rooms and clinic areas.
- Restock clinical supplies.
- Provide documentation support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience supporting a physical therapy clinic.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience assisting with patient care.
- Familiarity with therapeutic exercise support and medical equipment handling.
- Understanding of infection control and clinical documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
