WHAT'S THE SCOPE?
We proudly provide a $115,000-$125,000 salary with bonus opportunities.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am-4:00 pm.
YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS AS OUR DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS MATTER
When you join our painting company as our Director of Operations, you oversee all field operations, making sure projects wrap up on time, within budget, and at the quality our company is known for. You develop and maintain standard operating procedures that shape how production, scheduling, and customer service are delivered. Your mornings are often spent scheduling crews and coordinating materials to the right sites. Throughout the day, you monitor performance metrics, such as job profitability and crew efficiency, while keeping a close eye on safety standards and regulatory compliance. As you lead, train, and mentor both office and field staff, you foster a positive, safety-first culture. You review team performance, create development plans, recruit top talent, and handle onboarding. Alongside leadership, you help develop annual budgets and track KPIs, searching for new ways to improve efficiency and support profitable estimating. You're the go-to for customers before and during jobs, quickly resolving concerns and ensuring every project meets the company's high standards. With a commitment to process improvement, you optimize workflows, leverage tech tools, and drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
WHAT'S REQUIRED?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in residential construction, painting, or related trades
- Proven ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously
- Experience with estimating, scheduling, and operational budgeting
- Proficiency with project management, scheduling, and CRM software such as PipelineDeals or Smartsheets
- Willingness to travel locally up to 50% of the time
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Highly organized with outstanding time management abilities
- Data-driven decision-making and sharp analytical skills
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
