What are the responsibilities and job description for the In Home Caregiver position at Spectrum Home Care?
Do you enjoy making a difference in the lives of others? This is the perfect opportunity to do just that!! We assist the elderly population with daily living tasks to help them achieve their goal of staying in their own home.
We have current openings for PT and FT Caregivers.
Shifts available vary from 2hrs to 12hrs, day and evening
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assist in client's safety.
- Companionship
- Assist with personal cares (bathing, toileting, etc.)
- General light housekeeping - keep client's home and common areas clean and maintained. Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, clean the bathroom, clean up spills, collect and dispose of trash.
- Meal preparation
- Grocery shopping
- Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry.
- Advising Management of needed supplies, repairs, etc.
- Staying up to date with nutrition and hygiene
- Report any concerns and/or changes to management.
All applicants must be 18 years old, have reliable transportation, current insurance and submit to a background check.
*Caregivers with Experience in Dementia/Alzheimer's are encouraged to apply.
CNA is not required but is helpful. A wage increase is available to those who have acquired their CNA certification.
