Spectrum High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead our Varsity Cross Country program as the Head Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated student-athletes, build a competitive team, and contribute to the overall development of our Cross Country program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and mentor the Varsity team.
- Develop and implement training plans, strategies, and meet tactics.
- Foster a positive and supportive team environment focused on skill development, sportsmanship, and academic success.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff.
- Organize and oversee team practices, meets, and competitions.
- Promote a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and respect within the program.
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the sport.
- Leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate athletes to achieve their best both on and off the field.
- Must pass all required background checks and meet any additional district-specific requirements.
- Start Date: August - November 2026
- Season Length: August - November 2026
- Compensation: $3,740
