Head Cross Country Coach - Spectrum High School
Spectrum High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to lead, manage, and mentor our Cross County program as the Head Coach. This is an exciting opportunity to work with motivated student-athletes, build a competitive team, and contribute to the overall development of our cross country program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a climate that integrates sportsmanship and competitive athletics
- Develop positive sportsmanship, attitudes, and skills in the team
- Develop positive motivation in the team
- Provide a climate to facilitate participant character growth
- Assume responsibility for schedule development or schedule verification with the Activities Director
- Conduct orientation programs for parents, athletes, and coaches
- Communicate effectively with student-athletes and parents
- Develop positive team dynamic and interactions
Qualifications:
- Strong cross country knowledge and understanding of the game
- Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred.
Compensation: $2,740
