Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, this role will focus on accounts receivable, general ledger entries, grant reporting, reconciliations, cash flow tracking, and supporting audits and financial statements. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and assist with payment tracking
- Prepare journal entries and monthly financial reports
- Perform reconciliations for bank, investment, and general ledger accounts
- Support audit preparation and grant reporting
- Track cash flow, fixed assets, and capital leases
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 1 year of accounting experience
- Knowledge of accrual accounting and GAAP for nonprofits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
