Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our multidisciplinary medical team. This role is ideal for a legal professional passionate about healthcare operations, compliance, and workforce development. The Paralegal will play a critical role in reviewing contracts and agreements, supporting HR-related documentation and investigations, and ensuring regulatory alignment across our healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and revise contracts, vendor agreements, and service-level arrangements
• Support HR investigations, disciplinary documentation, and policy enforcement
• Assist with credentialing, employment agreements, and onboarding compliance
• Maintain organized records of legal and HR documentation for audits and reporting
• Liaise with external counsel and internal stakeholders to ensure timely legal reviews
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting healthcare operations and employment practices
• Contribute to the development of training materials and compliance protocols

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in contract review and HR support, preferably in healthcare or public sector settings
• Strong understanding of employment law, HIPAA, and healthcare compliance standards
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with correctional health, substance use disorder programs, or long-term care
• Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare credentialing processes
• Ability to synthesize complex legal and operational issues into clear, actionable guidance
