Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an exciting Potential Opportunity for an Ultrasound Technologist to support VA St. Louis Health Care System located in St. Louis, MO.
Position Highlights:
- Monday - Friday 40hrs per week
- PTO and 10 paid holidays

Duties include, but not limited to:
- Perform routine diagnostic ultrasound procedures/services
- Receive patients and provide appropriate care. This may include scheduling, reception of the patients, administrative work pertaining to ultrasound and accomplishing procedural instructions
- Observe and report to the Radiologist any symptoms which have direct bearing on the patient's condition and inform Radiologist of any condition requiring his/her attention
Adhere to ultrasound safety policies and procedures in accordance with Ultrasound Department policies and procedures.
Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment on a regular basis in accordance with Radiology Department standards. Process digital images, prepare tech worksheets with technical impression and submit for interpretation by radiologists.
Position Requirements:
Graduate from an Academic Program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Diagnostic Sonography
Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers(ARDMS) OR current Sonography through the American Registry of Radiographic Technologists(ARRT) in Abdominal and/or Obstetrics/Gynecology
