OverviewSeeking a Registered Nurse to provide outpatient care to active duty military members in a safe, steady, day-shift–only environment at F.E. Warren Air Force Base. The RN will support various ambulatory care areas within a Military Treatment Facility (MTF).

Schedule:

• Day shifts only (7AM - 5PM : Monday-Friday) 

• No nights, weekends, or holidays

Minimum Qualifications

May include work in: Ambulatory Care, Family Practice, Health Education/Promotion, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Women’s Health, and Flight Medicine.

• Degree: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

• Education: Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program

• Experience: At least 1 year of post-graduation nursing experience in applicable clinical areas

• Licensure: Active, unrestricted RN license in Wyoming

Core Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

• Ensure compliance with MTF standards, policies, and guidelines

• Perform physical exams and health histories

• Provide patient education, counseling, and health promotion

• Administer medications, wound care, and individualized nursing interventions

• Supervise and support other healthcare staff

• Assign patient care based on scope and skill level

• Identify and respond rapidly to adverse signs and emergencies

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

• Arrange referrals and specialty care when needed

• Support ongoing practice improvement and research activities
