Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a civilian Specialty Tech- Gastroenterology at Nellis Air Force Base, in Las Vegas Nevada.

Great schedule!
Monday-Friday - 730-1630. (On days when you are assigned to assist in surgery, the duty hours will be 0700 to 1600).
Clinical Scope:
- Set up clean field for specific gastroenterological procedures.
- Maintain clean and safe work area. Practices economy in the use of all supplies.
- Be knowledgeable about professional and practice issues related to the field of gastroenterology.
- Treat all staff members with patients and respect. Internal and external customer complaints are monitored.
Requirements:
- U.S. citizen
- Highschool Diploma. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program and have a current certificate.
- 1 year of experience within the last 36 months as a surgical services technician.
- BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- 1 year within the past 36 months in a medical settlin, prior GI procedures: specimen care abd handling: infection control.
