As a Social Media Manager you will lead systemwide strategy and execution for social media across the corporate brand and all divisions. To be successful in this role, an experienced leader will be highly collaborative with other areas of System Communications & Marketing (e.g., public relations, marketing, Health Beat) as well as with departments across the organization such as risk management, legal and clinical areas. Executive presence will be vital as this individual is asked to provide insights and expertise related to strategy, issues management and analytics. As a working manager, this individual will lead a team and guide day-to-day execution, manage issues and provide high-level consultation across the system. Must be experienced in community management, moderation and general social media channels care. The role also includes analytics and results reporting and measuring the impact of the organization’s strategy over time. The leader will also stay abreast of industry trends and changes to the social media platforms’ algorithms, policies, etc. An exciting opportunity to lead a growing team and manage a critical communications channel for our growing health system. This person will lead a team of Digital Marketing Specialists and oversee the building, delivering and supporting of digital marketing initiatives across channels. Tactics include: email marketing/automation, content management, campaign development, application integration and more.

You'll work closely with marketing, customer experience, digital experience and information services to translate the corporate/marketing vision into the right message at the right time for the right audience. You are part strategist, part creative director, part technology leader, and part teacher.

Essential Functions

  • Partner with business, marketing and information services leadership to build digital marketing solutions supporting corporate/marketing goals.
  • Manage and deliver a prioritized roadmap for digital marketing tools, initiatives and overall operations.
  • Lead and communicate effectively across functional and agency team members to align plans, solve problems, and deliver results.
  • Manage and refine operational processes that support delivery of digital marketing solutions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for digital marketing best practices.
  • Manage and direct the work of a team of employees. Responsible for selecting, developing, and performance management of direct reports.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (with emphasis in digital marketing or marketing technology), Digital Marketing, Informatics, Data Science or equivalent - Required
  • Master's Degree or equivalent Master’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field -Preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience or more experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in Marketing or Digital Marketing - Required
  • Leadership experience -Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in crisis communication and content gathering - Preferred
  • Large organization experience - Preferred
