Job Description
- Oversees medium sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.
- Projects assigned consist of integrations, new tools, services, platforms, programs and approaches in support of applicable business unit.
- Follows the Spectrum Health Project Management methodology and quality standards. Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management and the Spectrum Health project management methodology and toolset.
- Responsible for all aspects of assigned tasks over the entire project life cycle. Develops project plans and schedules, coordinates project work, and completes projects on time and within budget. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
- Assesses resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.
- Organizes and works with appropriate department leaders to plan and schedule the coordination of people and tasks as needed to accomplish project objectives.
- Serves as a liaison for projects between various departments within Spectrum Health.
- Communicates, collaborates, networks and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
- Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience Required
- 2 years of relevant experience of related experience, preferably in project management Required
- CRT-Project Management Professional, Associate (CAPM) - preferred Or
- CRT-Project Management Professional (PMP) - PMI Project Management Institute preferred
