What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supporting Transitions and Reentry (STAR) Clinician position at Spectrum Health Systems?
Location: Essex County Sheriff's Department Community Office in Lawrence, MA
Schedule: Monday-Friday. 3 days are 8:00am-4:00pm, 2 days 12:00pm-8:00pm
Pay rate: $27.40-$28.84/hour

The Supporting Transitions and Reentry (STAR) Clinician is responsible for:
- Utilizing assessment, group treatment, and relationships with community services for justice involved individuals.
- Educating offenders according to the approved curriculum and completes all required documentation in the case record.
- Participating in a multi-disciplinary team meeting on a weekly basis or as directed.
- Monitoring offender compliance with all programs and ECSD rules and regulations
- Facilitating classes and group sessions
- Participating in multi-disciplinary treatment planning, case reviews, conferences and other meetings as directed
- Working cooperatively with ECSD personnel to ensure smooth operation and coordination of the program
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- BA/MA or equivalent experience in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required
- CADC or LADC preferred
- Must attend annual mandatory in-service and education programs.
- Must complete education required for maintenance of professional certification or licensure if applicable.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
