What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse - (part-time) position at Spectrum Health Systems?
Location: Shirley, MA - Shirley Medium/Minimum Massachusetts Correctional Institution. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program (MOUD)
Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours a week. 5:00am-1:00pm
Week 1: Friday and Saturday
Week 2: Sunday and Friday
Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10.00/hour shift differential on the weekend
The Nurse is responsible for:
- Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUDT) Program
- Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
- Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
- Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training
Qualifications:
- Valid MA nursing license from accredited school required, LPN or RN
- Must have current CPR/BLS certification or obtain certification within 90 days of hire
- Experience in substance abuse/mental health preferred
- DOC experience preferred
Salary : $38 - $42
