Location: Statewide Corrections - Spectrum's Medication of Addiction Treatment (MAT)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary based on needs of program
Pay rate: $80,000-$90,000/annually

The Trainer is responsible for:
- Overseeing, developing, and implementing competency-based training for all staff working in the MA DOC, medication for addiction treatment (MAT) services.
- Focusing on training nursing staff in essential clinical skills, including safe medication administration, venipuncture (blood draws) and Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).
- Promoting internal and external training opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization, including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.

Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certification - Must have a current MA Registered Nurse license and CPR with basic life support certification.
- Prior teaching, training or staff development experience highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with populations affected by substance use and/or mental health disorder(s).
- Current CPR/BLS trainer certification and/or prior phlebotomy experience, preferred.
- Prior experience in correctional healthcare and/or substance use disorder and mental health treatment including OTP medication administration, preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
