Schedule: Full-time. Tuesday - Saturday 8 am - 4:30pm. Include late day 11am - 7pm

The Counselor is responsible for:
- Providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
- Performing intake assessments and completes all associated documentation within required time frames.
- Providing quality clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum's clinical design and in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies.
- Developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans for assigned clients in established time frames with the participation of the client.
- Demonstrating a satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree required
- LADC I or CADAC certification preferred
- Minimum of one-year supervised counseling experience in the substance abuse treatment or closely related field required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must have basic ability in use of computers sufficient to utilize electronic health records
