What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner position at Spectrum Health Systems, Inc.?
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for:
- Providing direct client services which includes substance abuse disorder (SUD) evaluations, formulation of diagnosis, medication management, and developing initial treatment plans to the Worcester County programs.
- Participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team and work closely with the attending CMO.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with minimum two years experience and who is approved for independent practice
- Current CPR certificate or obtains certification within 90 days of hire required
- Experience in SUD treatment
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory to the Attending Psychiatrist and Nursing Supervisor.
