Armed Security Officer – Storm Response | Pensacola, FL | $25-30/hr

Spectrum Florida Security is recruiting locally based armed security officers for temporary storm recovery assignments in the Pensacola area. We are building a ready-to-deploy team for businesses, commercial properties, restoration sites, and equipment locations that need security coverage during recovery.

Assignments and start dates depend on confirmed client needs. Applicants who can complete screening promptly and work flexible shifts will receive priority consideration.

Responsibilities

• Control access to assigned properties and verify that visitors and contractors are authorized to enter.
• Patrol designated areas and observe for security or safety concerns.
• Protect client assets through a professional, visible security presence.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, visitor records, and incident reports.
• Follow site post orders and promptly escalate emergencies through the proper channels.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, other officers, and the operations team.

Requirements

• Current Florida Class D Security Officer License and Class G Statewide Firearm License.
• Ability to work armed assignments in accordance with company policy and site requirements.
• Reliable transportation to assignments in and around Pensacola.
• Working phone and ability to respond promptly to scheduling messages.
• Availability for 12-hour shifts, including possible overnight and weekend coverage.
• Ability to remain alert, walk or stand as required by the assigned post, and work safely in a changing recovery environment.
• Ability to complete required screening and site access procedures.
