Duties
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Use voltmeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Support experienced electricians in low voltage and high voltage projects.
- Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while working with power tools and electrical systems.
Experience
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology is preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with construction site operations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to commercial electrician duties.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
