Residential Services Supervisor - $60,000 Annually

Job Summary:

Spectrum Community Services provides services to residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)in a residential setting. The Residential Services Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring a safe, structured, and supportive environment for the youth in our care. The Residential Services Supervisor manages staff, coordinates care plans, enforces policies, and serves as a role model while promoting youth’s independence and well-being. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle behavioral challenges with professionalism and compassion.

PAYRATE: $60,000 per year

LOCATION: Carbon, Monroe, Pike | MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate relationships with youth, visitors, families, team members, staff and neighbors by responding to inquiries with tact and sensitivity
• Participates in the development and implementation of Individual Service Plan (ISP)
• Assist the youth with their daily living skills, personal care, education, meal preparation, shopping, social and recreational activities, medical appointments, community life and associated transportation services as necessary
• Responsible for the overall, day-to-day operation of the program, assuring that all youth, staff, and facility/vehicle issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
• Complete files and maintain all required documentation daily
• Conduct fire drills at least monthly and complete necessary documentation
• Follow all the organization’s policies and procedures
• Respond in accordance with agency policies and procedures for handling emergency situations
• Attend all daily meetings and professional development sessions
• Maintain required certifications in compliance with the State 3800 Regulations
• Maintain residence, vehicle, and equipment in a safe, functional, and secure manner conductive to the youth’s physical well-being
• Assure the overall safety of the youth by maintaining a hazard-free environment and avoiding potentially dangerous situations
• Provide leadership, supervision and direction to youth.
• Conduct weekly supervision with staff
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance with all employees in your charge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working with individuals in a residential, behavioral health to social services setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to oversee multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and support staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
