What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Habilitation- Direct Support Professional $30/hr position at Spectrum Behavior Services, LLC?
Overview and Compensation: Experienced Community Habilitation (Com Hab)/Direct Support Professional staff person needed to work one-on-one with a young man with Autism in a home and community based program (self direction). This position includes working with our individual at home, in the community and at various community classes. The selected candidate will join a well-established program and will receive comprehensive initial training and ongoing guidance from clinical experts in a supportive and team-oriented atmosphere. Competitive hourly rate, and 25 hours per week guaranteed compensation from day one! Benefits eligible at 30 hours per week. Door-to-door transportation is provided to and from all community classes and outings (no MTA). Meals or meal allowance provided during shifts.

Hours and location: Position requires evening and weekend availability. Family is located in Upper Manhattan.
Additional requirements: Position is subject to OPWDD background check and requires minimum one-year prior experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
