Quality Control Inspector II

Position Overview:

Conducts inspection and overall quality of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards and blueprints. Assists in corrective actions to improve compliance with quality specifications and assists with communications with factories to ensure proactive continuous improvement. Supports the implementation of new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and/or standards.

EXPECTATIONS

DAILY:

· QC Parts & Create First Articles

· Assist when needed communicating the issues or failures to Factories to ensure continuous improvement

· Work with QC Supervisor, QC team and Director of Operations to ensure daily ship goals are met

WEEKLY:

· Work towards weekly requirements for shipments to ensure all customer deadlines and revenue targets are met

· Assist in reviewing Non-Conforming products and factory reworks

MONTHLY:

· Work towards monthly requirements for shipments to ensure all customer deadlines and revenue targets are met

· Assist with our calibration program to ensure all factories tools and gages are calibrated on schedule.

· Assist with tooling to ensure all necessary tooling is stocked

Extensive knowledge of quality control processes include familiarity with metrology instrumentation, reading and understanding of drawings/blueprints in both metric and English measurements, understanding of calibration requirements, Inspection and First Articles and general good practice for proactive quality assurance processes.

Use of CMM, Optical Comparator or optical microscope a plus.

Requires 3-5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor.

Work Schedule:

Monday Thru Friday, 8am to 5pm, 40 Hours Per Week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
