What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Scientist - Cell Therapy position at Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC?
Spectrix Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a successful candidate as a Cell Therapy Associate Scientist, for a long term permanent position at our client site in Spring House, Pennsylvania. This individual will work as part of oncology cell therapy research team responsible for optimizing CAR-directed cell therapy functionality of drug product candidates. Success in this position will require a positive attitude, effective collaboration, and the ability to implement in vitro assays to study human immune cell biology.
Responsibilities
- Design, carry out and troubleshoot assays for the development of cellular therapy products.
- Assays include flow cytometry, MSD, immune cell isolation, transduction, and sorting, and other functional assays and associated cell culture.
- Analyze complex data sets, maintain organized electronic notebook records, and present data in professional format at internal meetings.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Life Sciences with 3 years of relevant laboratory experience or a M.S. in Life Sciences with 0 years of relevant laboratory experience is required
- Experience with aseptic cell culture is required
- Experience working with T cells, NK cells or other immune cells is preferred
- Experience performing complex cell based co-culture assays is preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple experiments simultaneously
- Experience working within cross-functional teams is preferred
- Ability to maintain well-organized, detailed records is required
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills are required
