Application Engineer The position We are currently looking for passionate talent in the position of Application Engineer for our Test Measurement system at Seoul (Bundang) office. In this role, you will provide technical advice to the sales team and customers to develop, sell, and successfully implement product or service solutions that will meet the customer’s needs. Responsibilities To fully understand customers needs & requirements to provide supports in sales presentations, product demonstrations, customer / SI training and solution of application problems for HBK products. To use unique strengths, features and addressing points to assist in providing HW/SW support to our products. To provide SI company support for delivering of technical knowledge for system integration. To provide pre-sales support of company products and systems by resolving and coordinating the resolution of product problems and issues (Problem documentation, notification and escalation). To help customers understand and enhance products operations and applications. To contribute to develop new valuable applications, and relay the status of the customers' technical issues to Product Line and Marketing. Customer facing Test Measurement expert in the engineering group. Presales qualification of sales opportunities Expect to be out of the office at customer sites about 30% of the time. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the product roadmap enables current and prospective customers Job Requirements MS or BS Mechanical engineering or related to noise and vibration 7 years engineering experience 5 years of working experience in S&V industry Strong system and application knowledge of T&M Strong customer relationship and network already built Good interpersonal skills and team work Excellent communication skill in English and Korean Work with Sales to develop sales strategies. Work with application engineers to ensure post sales success. Present at online/in person conferences. Contribute and support HBK’s growth strategy in Test Measurement system Education and Certification You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical with application, domain or industry experience Ways to stand out from the crowd A proven record in growing an engineering and / or technology portfolio. High aptitude in determining customer needs and demonstrating the value of high-end engineering and technology solutions. FRF / Modal Analysis experience Accelerometer / Microphone , DAQ system experience Source Path Contribution analysis experience Sound Power / Quality experience Application Engineer experience would be a bonus.
