What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Room Technician position at Spectral Paints LLC?
Spectral Paints LLC is looking for a paint room technician from Saturday through Wednesday, approximately 25-35 hours per week. Preference will be given to applicants that meet this availability.
As a paint room technician, you will be responsible for stocking and labelling products, filling paint cans, handling paint and paint materials, and the general upkeep/flow of the manufacturing process. Paint room technicians are expected to master the maintenance of our paint machines and adhere to our safety standards at all times. Prospective employees MUST BE ABLE to wear a respirator at all times while they work in the paint room.
At times, we will need help on the warehouse floor. Warehouse associates are responsible for assisting with general warehouse duties, including receiving deliveries, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
The ideal applicant will have excellent attention to detail, a desire to improve upon our model, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Starting pay is $22 per hour. Raises are considered and typically given as employees establish tenure/responsibility. Lunch is provided to the team daily and we have a fully stocked snack/drink room for our employees.
Potential Employees Must
- Be willing to fill out a W-4, I-9, and be subject to a criminal background check.
- Have access to reliable transportation to Melrose Park, IL and be on time.
- Be able to wear a respirator at all time when inside of paint mixing rooms.
- Show a desire to establish positive working relationships with others.
- Be able to lift 50lb.
- Be able to work on their feet for most of the day.
- Comply with all company policies and training requirements.
