Title: Radiologic Technologist – Mobile
Location: Syracuse, Utica and/or Albany, New York (Any location, 3 openings)
Setting: Mobile imaging; skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centres, and patients' homes
Job Type: Field-based / Independent Role
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform portable diagnostic X-rays based on physician orders
- Operate and transport mobile imaging equipment
- Verify patient identity and exam details
- Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Document exams and transmit images for radiologist interpretation
- Communicate with patients, nursing staff, and facility personnel
- Maintain equipment and report any service issues
- Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
Requirements:
- Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License
- ARRT certification required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques
- Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Mobile/portable imaging experience preferred, but not required
- Independent and self-motivated
- Professional and patient-focused
- Comfortable travelling between different patient/facility locations
- Able to manage time effectively without constant supervision
- Strong in portable X-ray procedures and patient interaction.
