Job Title: IT Procurement Consultant

Location: Illinois | Remote

Employment Type: Contract (11 months)

Rate: $40/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled IT Procurement Consultant to join our team supporting Vantiv. In this role, you will lead procurement of IT solutions and services, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You’ll work closely with IT stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT procurement strategies that support business goals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and solutions.
• Negotiate and manage contracts for IT solutions and services, ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and company policies.
• Manage procurement processes including RFIs, RFPs, and contract awards.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Maintain procurement documentation and track savings.
• Provide procurement guidance and communicate plans to IT stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of IT procurement experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.
• Experience with procurement software/tools such as Ariba or Coupa.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree or procurement certifications (CPM, CPSM).
• Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
• Knowledge of cloud-based procurement platforms and tools.
