Our client is excited to expand their team with a Portfolio Analyst. This individual will join the team locally in the Greater Atlanta area and work closely with dynamic trading and portfolio management teams, both onsite and remotely.

It traditionally partners with institutional investors, asset managers, and wealth management firms to Bring Investment Ideas to Life.
What You’ll Do:
The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for managing and supporting tax-managed solutions. This role supports all investment-related aspects of SMA products, including product research, implementation, portfolio construction, trade review, risk management, and performance monitoring.
The successful candidate will be well-versed in factor risk models and quantitative portfolio management. This position demands strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to understand and clarify client goals. The role requires close collaboration and teamwork within a small team setting and across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of client portfolios, including account setup, daily reconciliation, model creation and maintenance, portfolio optimization, tax loss harvesting, and trading
- Enhance and support product trade workflows and portfolio monitoring functions
- Monitor index changes and curate buy lists for corporate actions
- Support client requests, including proposal generation and client reporting
- Perform regular internal and client-facing reporting
- Handle quarterly billing and AUM reporting
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding bond maturities, cash flows, quarterly performance reports for equity portfolios, and other reporting needs
- Coordinate with custodians to address client inquiries and support internal reporting
- Assist sales and marketing teams by developing client/advisor materials and new collateral
- Participate in presentations, conference calls, and industry events
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- 2 years of experience in the investment management industry
- CFA Charterholder or actively pursuing CFA / Series 65 preferred
- Hard-working, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment

- Able to prioritize and manage workload amid changing demands
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Expert-level Excel user with strong Microsoft Office proficiency
- Experience with Bloomberg PORT and/or Orion preferred
- Independent thinker with the ability to clearly communicate complex data analyse.
- Solid understanding of equity markets, portfolio construction, tax optimization, and portfolio risk analytics.
- Experience with portfolio optimizers and factor risk models.
- Team player with strong quantitative, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
