MHT II- The Haven
Base Pay: $14.00/hr
This position will be based at the Haven in Dothan, Alabama
Working Hours will be on a 12hr Pittman Schedule
Week 1: 7am-7pm Tuesday, Wednesday. Saturday and Sunday
Week 2: 7am - 7pm Monday, Thursday, Friday
Duties of this position include:
- Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.
- Teaching group and individual basic living skills
- Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program
- Ensure efficient operation of the facility
- Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision
- Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED
- Must meet insurance eligibility requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years or older), good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire
- Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment
