Residential Foster Home Director - Lena
This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Lena Foster Home. Work hours of this position are Monday - Friday 8am-4pm, but will include on-call availability and flexibility with work schedule due to occasional program needs to include some nights, weekends, holidays, etc. Directors will be on call for program(s) at all times.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manages and directs the day-to-day operation of the Lena Foster Home.
- Ensures foster home meets all guidelines and remains in compliance with SpectraCare Personnel Policies, SpectraCare Clinical Policies, ADMH policies, Medicaid Rehab Standards, Fire and Safety Standards, Vehicle Operations Manual, Food Bank policies, contractual agreements and others as noted. Will notify appropriate personnel of deficiencies and plan of action to correct.
- Responsible for ensuring a high quality of care for foster home residents.
- Manage the financial aspects of the program.
- Provides overall supervision of program staff. Duties to include but not limited to providing adequate on the job training, completion of performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, signing off on timecards, etc. in a timely manner.
- Ensures staff maintain current required certifications and trainings, as required by SpectraCare, ADMH, Medicaid, and/or other state, local or federal agencies. Certifications include but not limited to driver's license, first aid, CPR certification, etc.
- Will work with HR Scheduler on filling shifts due to call outs, vacation requests, and staff vacancies. May be required to cover program with limited notice due to shift call outs, staff vacancies, vacation requests, etc.
- Will be available after hours, weekends, and/or holidays via telephone, email, and/or text for staff and/or clinical situations that may arise.
- Will need to be able to respond to crisis as they occur.
- Maintain and document consumer records utilizing the system electronic medical records
- Maintaining the medication program for the foster home, partnering with nursing staff.
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2yrs supervised direct care experience
- Minimum of 1yr Supervisory experience preferred
- Must have a good motor vehicle record and be willing to submit to MVR check
- Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
