Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance as required.
- Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment.
- Present a sense of urgency.
- Execute daily maintenance work order activities and priorities in the most efficient manner possible.
- Assist with the procurement of replacement and spare parts.
- Read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications.
- Work closely with supervision and production to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Two-year technical associate degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years-experience providing process and/or engineering support in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively in team environment with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Training Requirements:
- Amenable to additional training and/or instruction
Physical Job Demands:
- Moderate to heavy lifting required.
- Moderate to high physical activity including but not limited to climbing steps and ladders, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
- Must work in a constant state of mental alertness.
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DoD regulations.
