Job SummaryWe are looking for a Structural Engineer to support design of a new nuclear facility.
Candidate will be performing the following:
- Design structural systems
- GT Strudl, STAAD Pro and FEA (finite element analysis) programs experience is desired
- Concrete structures design experience of a nuclear infrastructure project is desired
- Fuel Fabrication design experience preferred
- Must be highly knowledgeable and proficient in material designs such as steel, masonry, concrete, cold formed metal design.
- Requires ability to work with AISC, ACI, AWS, ASD, ANSI, and other codes and standards applicable to nuclear facility designs.
- B.S. degree in Civil engineering or similar engineering degree is required
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant structural engineering experience is required.
- PE License preferred (but not required)
- Must have experience working with nuclear facilities.
- Must have knowledge of project engineering activities
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
UF6 or centrifuge facility design experience highly desired
