- Move material by hand, by pallet jack, or by operating material handling equipment if applicable.
- Receive, rebox, label, inspect, pick, pack, sort, stack, or ship materials by following appropriate work instructions to ensure process accuracy
- Accurately pick items by RF. Pack, ship, receive and maintain an inventory of product, and fulfill customer orders with emphasis on attention to detail. Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory. Accurately pull and/or pack products for customer orders, making sure all customer requirements are met.
- Receive all incoming. Inspect and compare packing lists, bills of lading, purchase orders, and/or related documentation. Report all discrepancies or damaged goods. Document and label materials according to procedures.
- Complete relevant transactions to document the movement of material via RF Scanner, computer, or paperwork. Verify transactions accuracy.
- Communicate and coordinate necessary information to the appropriate department/shift to ensure effective operations
- Rebox and label all parts correctly. Inspect returns for damage and accurately receive them on RGA’s, report any discrepancies.
- Performs administrative tasks related to products/materials such as coordinating shipments, preparing, reviewing, filing, and maintaining customer orders, preparing to ship and receiving documents, process returns, and utilizing a database to enter and maintain information related to products/material.
- Identify issues in the process, customer orders, shipping, and/or receiving areas, and report any issues in the process to the immediate supervisor.
- May operate material handling equipment as necessary including a walkie, reach, dock stocker, order picker or sit-down forklift.
- Follow all 6S procedures and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- All other duties directed by work instruction
- Ability to analyze problems and determine the appropriate resolutions on a daily basis.
- Ability to work with team members to produce quality work within tight timeframes while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers.
- Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms.
- Lift 50 pounds or greater, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl.
