Position Overview
We are seeking a flexible and dependable On-Call phlebtomist to support clinics in and around the Dallas area. This role provides coverage for collectors who are out due to PTO, emergencies, or staffing needs. As clinic coverage expands.
The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and comfortable adjusting to the unique needs and workflows of different clinic environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect urine drug screens (UDS)
- Perform blood collections (venipuncture)
- Process specimens according to established protocols
- Package and ship specimens to designated laboratories
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow compliance standards
- Provide coverage at multiple clinic locations as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with specimen collection, including UDS and blood draws
- Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic settings and procedures
- Flexible availability for on-call scheduling
- Reliable transportation required
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 2.5 hours
- Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
