Role Description

The Warehouse Supervisor at Specified Technologies Inc is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the warehouse. This role ensures efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and staff to meet company objectives and customer satisfaction

Responsibilities 

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies. Process is inclusive of audits.
• Coordinate and optimize logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and distribution.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  Monitor and report on key performance indicators to assess warehouse efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
• Coordinate receiving and shipping activities with production and customer service.
• Implement and oversee safety and housekeeping standards to prevent workplace accidents
• Optimize layout and processes for space and workflow efficiency.
• Utilize ERP or WMS to track inventory and transactions and provide reports to management as required.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements 

 High School Diploma along with, or. equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse Supervision, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing warehouse staff and operations efficiently to meet on time delivery and quality standards
• Strong knowledge and experience with inventory management systems (WMS).

Skills and Abilities 

• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities..
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with staff, vendors, and clients.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes in priorities or schedules.
• Experience with full scope of warehouse safety, OSHA regulations and accident prevention
• Forklift certification required.
• Excellent and problem-solving skills

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
