Role Description
We’re seeking a Quality Control Technician who will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met by routine monitoring of receiving, production, and storage of products. The Quality Control Technician will help ensure adherence to established safety standards, and manufacturing practices are used in production of STI products.
This position is based on-site at our Manufacturing and Warehouse Facility in Burlington, New Jersey.
The schedule for this role is Monday–Thursday, working 10‑hour shifts.
What You'll Do:
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Evaluate and test incoming materials (products, components, raw materials, literature) for specification compliance.
- Identify, document, and disposition non‑conforming materials; maintain QC Hold and Scrap areas.
- Inspect materials and perform sealant testing as required for customer needs or complaint resolution.
- Review, evaluate, and disposition customer returns; repackage materials when necessary.
- Document all testing, inspections, and dispositions in accordance with requirements.
Inventory & Material Handling
- Transfer materials within the inventory control system and update inventory after evaluations.
- Move and retrieve materials using a forklift, powered pallet jack, cart, or similar equipment.
- Ship samples as needed.
Documentation & Procedure Development
- Maintain required records in both hard copy and electronic formats.
- Assist in developing and writing QC procedures, work instructions, and quality policies.
Education
- Highschool Diploma
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge/familiarity with measurement instrumentation desirable, but not necessary.
Skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Required)
- Forklift, powered pallet jack (Forklift license a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
