SSA is currently seeking an industry experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. The position involves taking incoming calls and emails, processing orders and expediting orders in a multi-office environment. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for handling customer inquiries promptly and effectively in a fast-paced, friendly, team-oriented environment. The associate will also assist the outside sales team with customer support.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer telephone calls and provide all aspects of customer service by providing quotes or research products/services.
- Process customer sales orders in manufacturers' proprietary online system.
- Expedite customer sales orders by working with other sales offices and manufacturers' service centers.
- Build rapport with customers through friendly, and engaging communication.
- Assist outside sales team with customer support.
- Assist other sales offices with customer support.
Qualifications
- 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience (industry experience is preferred).
- Ability to speak effectively with customers.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Analytical skills need to research product and equipment information.
- Proven abilities to attend to details.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties.
- Above average communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.
- Familiarity with Office@Hand (RingCentral), ZenDesk and SharePoint is desired but not required.
