Position Overview:
We are seeking reliable, disciplined, and professional Armed and Unarmed Security Officers, as well as Special Police Officers, to join our growing team. Officers will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling premises, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to detect suspicious activity
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents in a timely and professional manner
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and applicable laws
- Provide customer service and assistance to clients and the public
- For Armed/Special Police: carry and responsibly use issued firearms in accordance with training and legal standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid security guard license (as required by state/local law)
- Armed positions: valid firearms permit and certification
- Special Police: must meet jurisdictional requirements and commissioning standards
- Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience preferred
- Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Clean criminal background and drug screening
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Capability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Duties
- Patrol designated areas regularly to monitor for suspicious activity, security breaches, or safety hazards
- Conduct thorough inspections of facilities, vehicles, and personnel to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond swiftly to emergencies by administering first aid or CPR when needed and coordinating with emergency responders
- Investigate incidents by gathering evidence, writing detailed reports, and collaborating with law enforcement agencies
- Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management techniques while maintaining professionalism
- Requirements
- Proven experience in law enforcement, security, military service, or related fields with leadership qualities
- Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and report writing standards
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ability to respond confidently during medical emergencies
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in driving patrol vehicles preferred
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment is a plus
- Excellent conflict management skills combined with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
