What are the responsibilities and job description for the Orthodontic Assistant/ Records Tech/ Sterilization Tech position at Specialty Smiles Orthodontics?
Growing orthodontic practice seeking an introductory orthodontic assistant with a great attitude for a part-time position. We are looking for someone to add to our wonderful team that is personable, self-motivated and works well with others. Responsibilities include seating patients, taking radiographs, digital iTero scanning, sterilization, fabrication of Essix retainers and aligners, sterilization, records taking, aligner checks and other tasks as needed. Orthodontic experience is preferred.
**24-32 HOURS (3-4 DAYS) PER WEEK, Days vary from week to week, so schedule must be flexible. Some days go from 8:30-5:30, some are 9:30- 6:30. Should also be willing to help with community events 2x/ year. Includes 1 Saturday per month
**POSITION LOCATED IN MIAMI LAKES, FL ; May include travel to other nearby satellite offices as needed.
Requirements: CDA certification and radiation certification. Must speak English & Spanish
Pay is hourly and based on experience and abilities.
