Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate, skilled ICU Registered Nurses. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced setting
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, ventilator settings, and continuous cardiac telemetry
- Administer IV medications, vasoactive drips, and blood products per physician orders
- Perform and assist with procedures (central line placement, arterial lines, intubation)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Respond to rapid deterioration and code situations
- Educate patients and families on plan of care and discharge planning
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS and certifications required
- TCAR preferred
- TNCC preferred
Pay: Up to $2,793.00 per week
